These terms apply when you use readntrade.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Questions are welcome at info@readntrade.com.

What ReadNTrade is

ReadNTrade helps readers list books they own and get in touch with each other to swap, sell or give them away. Members arrange every exchange themselves, including price, payment, delivery or pickup. ReadNTrade does not take part in exchanges, does not handle payments, and is not a party to any agreement between members.

Your account

• Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Your public handle must not impersonate another person or organisation.

Listing books

• Only list books you own and are able to swap, sell or give away.
• Describe the condition honestly, and keep your listings up to date.
• Do not list counterfeit or pirated copies, or anything that is illegal to sell or share.
• You keep ownership of the photos and text you add. You give ReadNTrade permission to display them on the site for as long as they are listed.

Dealing with other members

• Be honest and courteous in messages. No harassment, spam or scams.
• Meet or ship safely. ReadNTrade does not check members, books or deliveries, so take the same care you would with any private sale or swap.
• If a member breaks these rules, tell us at info@readntrade.com.

Removing content and accounts

We may remove listings or messages, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or put other members at risk. You can stop using ReadNTrade and delete your account at any time from your Account page, as described in our Privacy Policy.

No warranty

ReadNTrade is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Because members deal with each other directly, we are not responsible for the books exchanged, their condition, payment or delivery. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from exchanges between members. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will let members know by email. Continuing to use ReadNTrade after a change means you accept the updated terms.
